Coffee Shop Menus

Our stylish coffee shop in the old milking parlour is warm and relaxing, and there is the added attraction of a marble champagne bar outside on a stone-flagged terrace.   There are outside tables as well as a summer house.  We are fully licensed so you can enjoy a glass of wine, beer or champagne with a light lunch, a delicious pastry or slice of cake.

Coffee

As trained baristas we provide much more than just ‘another cup of coffee’.  Our coffee suppliers, Artisan Roast,  have gone to enormous lengths to find the best green coffee.   They then spend many hours roasting and tasting to get the most out of every bean’s potential.   Our job is to coax a full range of exquisite coffees from our lovely Bezzera espresso machine.   Cappuccinos and lattes are finished with velvet, organic milk and our full flavoured long blacks and Americanos are to be savoured.

Tea

We brew loose and bagged tea, including fruit and herbal tea.

Sandwiches

Bread buns generously filled with egg mayonnaise (organic free range eggs) or roasted ham and freshly made pease pudding.

Soup

Our soup of the day ranges from a hearty vegetable to something lighter, such as sweet potato and coconut.   We serve it with our own soda bread or yeast bread.

Cream Tea

A fruit scone with our own jam, clotted cream and a choice of tea and coffee, or you may prefer a glass of champagne!   From £5.50.

Afternoon Tea

Finger sandwiches and a selection of our scones and cakes served with jam and clotted cream.   Tea or coffee, a glass of wine or champagne – it’s up to you!  Bookings only.  From £25 a head.

Pop-Up Suppers

If you would like to sample our pop up suppers either email us or phone for booking details.  We offer at least four courses with coffee and tea to finish.   We serve it in the parlour which has an open kitchen with a five oven electric AGA.
